How to maintain co2 laser cutter and engraver for metal nonmetal in summer 

Summer is coming, We are expected to pay more attention to maintain the co2 laser cutting machine. Today I will teach you some tips of how to prevent laser cutter from “heat stroke” in summer.

Heat dissipating 

The dust laser cutting machine produced by melting is mainly the things which is blown away in the air. We need to keep the laser equipment in air circulation conditions and check regularly the working conditions of fan and cleaning the dust of electrical cabinet from time to time.

water-cooling

When it is hot weather, the deterioration speed of cooling water will accelerate. The regular distilled water or pure water is advised to the users of good quality co2 laser cutter and engraver. In addition, to clean the scale regularly, avoiding the laser generator and the pipe attached to scale to effect the laser power;

Note that the cooling water temperature is not too different from the air temperature. It is recommended that the majority of laser cutting machine users should set the water temperature at about 25-32 degrees in summer. With the temperature getting higher and higher, the working pressure of the cooling system increases sharply. It is suggested that the internal pressure of the cooling machine should be checked before the high temperature coming, so as to aadapt to the high temperature weather.

Lubrication

All the rails should be cleaned regularly to eliminate dust and other impurities ensuring that the laser equipment is running normally. Rail or rack need to be cleaned regularly, which requires to  add lubricating oil and observe the oil situation from time to time. For the laser cutter which works at the high temperature area, the viscosity of the oil should be increased. In addition, we need to add the proper amount of fat oil, for its temperature is very easy  to change effected by the hot weather.

Carefully check the straightness of the track of the laser cutting machine and the verticality of the machine, maintaining and adjusting in time when finding the abnormal situation. What’s more, the rail and motor should be cleaned and add lubricating oil regularly to make sure the machine will run better with high precision and high quality.

Cables

Check and replace aging wires, plugs, connectors, hose. When discovering the electrical components of joint pin thread is loose, we need to timely tighten them to avoid unstable transmission caused by the electrical burn and bad contact.
