The working principle of cnc plasma cutting is using high temperature plasma arc to heat the work piece incision, which will be of partial melting and evaporation. Applications: 


With different gas, cnc plasma cutting machine in Dekcel is able to cut various metals which are difficult to be cut off only by oxygen, especially for non-ferrous metal (stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, copper, titanium, nickel). Operation processing of Dekcel best price cnc plasma cutting machine


1. Manual non-contact cutting method 


(1)under this operation, the torch roller will contact the work piece. The distance between the work piece and norzzle is adjusted to 3 ~ 5mm. (Choose the the "cutting thickness”switch and set it in the high grade position.)


(2) open the cnc plasma cutting machine, and ignite the plasma arc. After cutting through the work piece, the cnc plasma cutter gun will move to the cutting direction at an average speed. The cutting speed should not be slow. If the cutting speed is too slow, it  will affect the quality of the cut and even break the arc.


(3) after cutting work, closing the switch of cutting torch, then the plasma arc will extinguish. The compressed air will spray to cool the cutting torch. After a few seconds, it will stop pouring automatically. Remove the torch of cnc plasma cutting machine, and the whole cutting process is completed.


2 .Manual contact cutting


(1)Choose the low grade of "cut thickness" when it comes to the thin metal plate cutting by cnc plasma cutter


(2) The torch nozzle is supposed to be put in the start point. The open the switch of cutting torch, igniting the plasma arc to cut the thick metal. 


 (3) after cutting work, closing the switch of cutting torch, then the plasma arc will extinguish. The compressed air will spray to cool the cutting torch. After a few seconds, it will stop pouring automatically. Remove the torch of cnc plasma cutting machine, and the whole cutting process is completed.


Maintenance of cnc plasma cutting machine


1. assembly the cutting torch in a correct way

2. the consumable parts of cnc plasma cutter such as nozzle, should be replaced in time before completely damaged

3. cleaning the connecting thread of cnc plasma cutting torch

4. cleaning the contact surfaces of electrodes and nozzles

5. check gas and cooling gas every day

6. prevent torch from collision damage


7. The most common  reasons of torch damage

(1) the torch collision.

(2) a destructive plasma arc due to the loss of consumable parts.

(3) destructive plasma arc caused by dirt.

(4) destructive plasma arc caused by loose parts.


8. Attentions when using cnc plasma cutting machine 

(1) do not grease the cutting torch.

(2) do not over use O ring lubricant.

(3)  do not spray chemicals when the protection cover is still left on the cutting torch

(4) do not take manual torch as hammer.
